About the Instructor
Fiona Young
Founder at Carve, AI Expert & Former Executive Assistant
Fiona is the founder of Carve, the world’s leading AI learning provider for Executive Assistants and business support professionals, and a leading expert in AI tools for everyday workplace productivity.
With a background in Learning & Development and experience as an Executive Assistant herself, she deeply understands the realities of the EA and Business Support role.
Since 2022, Fiona has been dedicated to giving assistants real, practical AI superpowers. Her teaching combines clarity, warmth and hands-on demos designed specifically for support professionals.
Fiona's Ethos for Learning
With 15,000+ hours of learning design behind it, the AI Lab for Executive Support focuses on what truly moves the needle in AI skills for support professionals.
These six principles shape the entire programme.

Fiona believes in the power of peer learning, that people learn best together and from one another. Learning with others motivates you to keep going, and holds you accountable to change. We all get more out of learning when we’re able to share our own experiences, reflections and insights.
Fiona believes learning is stickiest when it happens a little at a time and often, unfolding over a period of several weeks, rather than crammed into a single week or day.
The way this course is structured gives you a chance to practice what you’ve learned in the real world, then come back together to share reflections, wins and blockers. This format helpfully also fits better into a hectic schedule like yours!
Ai Lab for Executive Support focusses on the how and how now. Forget the preamble, forget the fluff. This course gets stuck right in, giving you exercises to try right away, and leaving you with practical guides (including key learnings, tools and checklists) that you can use and reuse after the course ends.
This course is tailored for EAs, PAs and business support professionals, making it highly relevant and high value.
Fiona is passionate about creating learning experiences that make an impact, going beyond basic assessments of whether learning happened – to drill into the wider impact learning had on you, your career, your exec and your organization.
We’ve all experienced dull and outdated learning content, it’s no fun. Fiona’s signature training is fresh and cutting edge, designed to inspire the smart and savvy Assistant. It’s updated every week based on the latest headlines, launches and insight (with the pace of change in AI that’s essential!).

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
The AI Lab Programme has been carefully designed by Fiona Young, Founder of Carve and former Executive Assistant, in collaboration with Executive PA Forum.
The programme draws on real-world EA experience, adult learning best practice, and practical use cases from today’s workplace, alongside research, thought leadership and hands-on testing of leading AI tools.
This is not theory-led training, it’s built to be immediately useful in your day-to-day role.
The programme includes:
-
One full-day, in-person session in Dublin
-
Two live 90-minute virtual follow-up sessions
Outside of sessions, any additional time is optional and focused on applying what you’ve learned in your own role. There is no heavy “homework” the emphasis is on practical, real-world impact.
We understand the realities of EA and business support roles.
All live sessions will be recorded, so if you can’t attend live, you’ll be able to catch up afterward.
That said, we strongly encourage live attendance where possible, as discussion, peer learning and shared problem-solving are a big part of the AI Lab experience.
The AI Lab is platform-agnostic.
Rather than training you on just one tool, the programme focuses on foundational AI skills that work across platforms; including how to think about AI, prompt effectively, assess outputs, and use AI responsibly at work.
While demonstrations may include tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot and others, the skills you learn are transferable; whether your organisation uses one tool today or adopts new platforms in the future.
You’ll have access to:
-
Session recordings
-
Slides and supporting materials
-
Key takeaways and additional resources
Access will be available for three months after the programme concludes.
